We plan for the film to be complete in October 2012. It will have a special premiere event in Batesville, Arkansas in conjunction with the Ozark Foothills FilmFest and go on to festivals and theater runs from there. I’ll do my best to get it screened in Memphis, close to you!

45RPM shooting scenes at Been Around Records and Arrow Bus Lines in Little Rock, Arkansas
Last fall I learned that a friend of a friend was making a movie exploring the landscape of Arkansas Garage Rock. I auditioned and was allowed to take a small role in the film. My scene takes place in a record store, so I got to hunt for albums in-between takes. The link goes to the film’s website, and specifically the photos from my day on set. I’m not sure when the finished production will begin showing up on the festival circuit, but I am very much anticipating the chance to see a film showcasing the cooler aspects of the Arkansan music field.
On March 30th at 6pm we’ll be screening a sneak peek of 45 RPM as part of the Indie Film Initiative Works-In-Progress Program at this year’s Ozark Foothills Film Festival. There will be a short Q&A with writer/director Juli Jackson.
